By downloading, accessing, or using the Slide Thru application (“App”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
To use Slide Thru, you must:
Be at least 18 years old.
Provide accurate and truthful account information.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Slide Thru (“we,” “our,” “us”) is a social planning and discovery platform that allows users to:
Create and share plans for hangouts, activities, and events—when they want, where they want, with who they want.
Browse public plans made by people nearby.
View plan details based on the plan’s visibility settings.
Join plan-based group chats to coordinate.
See verification badges (e.g., school or organizational domains) when applicable.
Some content may include public, third-party event listings for user convenience. Slide Thru does not host, organize, or endorse events unless clearly stated.
Users may verify their account using a school, organizational, or other supported domain email.
Verification:
Confirms only that the user had access to that email.
Does not confirm enrollment, employment, affiliation, or status.
Displays a badge to help users understand who they may be interacting with.
Does not restrict or unlock separate feeds or content types.
Slide Thru may limit verification features if misuse or safety concerns arise.
When creating a plan, hosts can choose from the following visibility levels:
Public: Visible to all users.
Private: Visible on the feed, but details are hidden until approved by the host.
Hidden: Not listed publicly; accessible only via a shared link.
Hosts are responsible for accurately representing their plans. Slide Thru does not control or assume liability for user-created plans or real-world interactions.
By using Slide Thru, you agree that:
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You will use the App safely and lawfully.
You will not mislead, harm, or harass other users.
You will respect others’ privacy, boundaries, and consent.
You will not impersonate others or falsify verification materials.
Misuse may result in suspension or termination.
The App may show public events sourced from external platforms.
Slide Thru:
Is not affiliated with these events
Does not guarantee their accuracy
Is not responsible for cancellations, changes, or disputes
Users should verify details with the event organizers.
Basic features are free. Certain features may require payment or subscription.
Payments are processed securely by third-party providers.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal.
Slide Thru is not responsible for external billing issues.
For safety and authenticity, Slide Thru may require:
Email verification
Phone verification
Photo or face verification
ID verification (rare cases)
Verification increases trust but does not guarantee user behavior. Users should take reasonable precautions, especially when meeting others.
You agree not to:
Harass, threaten, or discriminate
Post harmful, explicit, or illegal content
Misrepresent events or plans
Spam or abuse the platform
Engage in dangerous or unlawful behavior
Violations may lead to content removal, restrictions, or account termination.
Plans may include group chats for coordination.
Chats must remain respectful and relevant.
Slide Thru may remove or moderate messages that violate these Terms.
Chats may automatically expire after a plan ends.
User-to-user messages and interactions are the sole responsibility of participants.
Businesses or promoters may create plans for promotional purposes.
They must:
Clearly represent their offering
Avoid misleading content
Comply with all applicable laws
By posting, they grant Slide Thru permission to display their content within the App.
Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Slide Thru:
Does not sell personal data
Shows limited profile information to others as needed for plan participation
Uses technical and administrative safeguards
Complies with applicable data protection laws
All App content, features, and branding belong to Slide Thru or are licensed for its use. Users may not copy, modify, or distribute content without permission.
Slide Thru is provided “as is.” We are not responsible for:
Real-world interactions between users
Issues arising from events or plans
Third-party inaccuracies
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Users participate in activities at their own risk.
You agree to indemnify and hold Slide Thru harmless from claims arising out of:
Your use of the App
Your posted content or plans
Disputes or incidents related to events
We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
Violating these Terms
Fraudulent or harmful activity
Misuse of verification or features
Upon termination, access to the App and its features ends immediately.
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after updates signifies acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflicts of law.
